HBS Microfinance Limited is a micro financial service provider incorporated in Tanzania on 27^th April 2020 as a company limited by liability under the Tanzania Companies Act. 2002 and licensed by a Bank of Tanzania (BoT) on 3^rd February 2021 to operate with registration number MSP2-0140. Its key object is to provide microfinance product and services to Informal and Micro, Small & Medium Scale Enterprises(IMSME’s) sectors. IMSME’s are marginalized and lack of financial assistance from formal banking Institutions.

Since the beginning of its operations in Tanzania mainland, HBS Microfinance continually creates and commercializes products which are compatible with needs and expectations of its clients and adapts services and products to position the company to compete favorably in a continual changing business environment. Additionally, HBS Microfinance Limited provides business development and advisory services to our clients to assist them manage and grow their businesses successfully.

Coverage and expansion milestone

Currently, HBS Microfinance offers quality financial services to various Entrepreneurs in Arusha, Moshi, Babati, Kondoa, Dodoma, Iringa, Mafinga, Tanga and Gairo. However, HBS Microfinance intends to expand its operations to other parts of this country as there is still a huge potential for financial services provision across the country. The strategy is laid down to reach a big number of small business owners’ allover townships in Tanzania. Moreover, HBS Microfinance has been a platform for youth employment. As of to date, HBS Microfinance has a total of 70 field staff and the plan ahead is to keep on employing more young people who are jobless in streets.
